Military History
The United States has a long military history since its founding in the midst of the Revolutionary War. The Civil War and World War II are the largest struggles the nation has been involved with. There have been numerous smaller engagements and occupations as well, some of which are very obscure to most Americans.

Running from 1675-1676, King Philip's War ended with the near-annihilation of the New England Indians and killed almost 2% of the colonist population.
