- What message will you emphasize as you accept your party's nomination for President of the United States?I will unite our country, not tear it apart. We have such an odious, unpopular, unqualified candidate from the Republican side that there really is just one choice.
- Will you give Bernie Sanders a prime speaking slot at the Democratic Convention?Let's give the keynote address to Elizabeth Warren. Mr. Sanders will speak as well, but I think emphasizing Ms. Warren will be a good middle-ground.
- Barack Obama is looking to you for pointers on the content of his convention speech, to make sure it is congruent with your campaign strategy. What should he emphasize?I want Obama to make a targeted appeal to the African-American community to help make my case.
- To what extent will you attack Donald Trump for the rhetoric he has used about Mexicans, Muslims, women, and other groups?I am going to be pretty explicit in calling out the rhetoric and demagoguery of Donald Trump throughout this election.

- What message will you emphasize about the political views of Donald Trump on economic and budget issues?Trump's prescriptions would devastate international trade, domestic investment, and most importantly, American employment. They would plunge us into a severe global recession.

- To what extent will you campaign with Barack Obama, or support his presence on the campaign trail this year?I'd like Obama to focus on driving turnout in minority neighborhoods, which we will need to replicate his victories of 2008 and 2012.
- To what extent will you support the presence of Bernie Sanders on the campaign trail?We'd be more than happy to see Bernie Sanders on the campaign trail this fall, if that's what he wants.
- Do you stand by your position, voiced during the primaries, that you will not deport any illegal immigrant who has not otherwise committed a crime?I stand by that statement 100 percent. And I will push for immigration reform within my first 100 days as President.

Do you have anything to say about these tactics?Donald Trump has repeatedly stepped over the line with his irresponsible rhetoric, and it shouldn't be any surprise that more and more protestors are turning out against him.
- Do you plan to participate in the traditional three debates, between yourself and Donald Trump?Any chance we can get to expose Trump's complete lack of preparation for the Presidency is a win for us.
- What was your rationale behind selecting Cory Booker as your running mate?Cory Booker is a bright, young, energetic man who will be perfectly ready to assume the Presidency from day one. He represents the best and brightest of the African-American community.
- At a Trump rally today, a deranged supporter fired at several protestors before he was tackled. Are these rallies getting out of hand?Repeatedly, Mr. Trump has refused to acknowledge the consequences of his divisive rhetoric, and events at his rallies continue to escalate. What will it take for him to acknowledge that he is responsible?
- What actions would you take in Syria to help stabilize the situation there, and to combat ISIS?The idea that there is a moderate opposition in Syria is fantasy. Every side is terrible, and we'd be best served to pull back from the entire fray and let it play out.
- Do you support the recent nuclear deal between the United States and Iran?This is a signature accomplishment of the Obama Administration, and I support it whole-heartedly.
- Do you support the Supreme Court ruling in 2015 which struck down any prohibition on gay marriage?I can't support it. You know, once upon a time we actually had a legislature in this country which debated the laws and made these kinds of decisions.
- How concerned are you about the $17 trillion debt that the United States currently owes?Barack Obama has reduced the deficit of this country by over half since his first year in office, and I will do anything I can to continue his policies.
- Do you support the practice of fracking? What is your overall view on energy policy?Until green energy technologies are ready to shoulder the load, we need help from oil and fracking.
- What is your take on the Black Lives Matter movement?I support African-Americans in this country and I oppose police brutality. But these activists are a different story. There have been some very hateful things said, and they are tied to a number of riots that we've seen.
- What measures should be taken to make college more affordable?College administrators are skimming an unbelievable amount of money off of the federal government, and they're using student aid to drive up tuition. It's a terrible thing, really.

- Donald Trump is regularly floating the accusation that Bill Clinton had a male child with an African-American hooker in Little Rock, and that both of you have conspired to bury the story. Do you have any comment?Mr. Trump's attacks are grotesque and outrageous. I trust that Americans of all persuasions will vote this type of rhetoric down in November.
- To what extent will you attack Donald Trump for any number of statements he has made about women in his past, including in this election cycle?Mr. Trump's gross and outlandish rhetoric should disgust any decent, hard-working women in our society. We need to show that there is no place for this rhetoric.
