- What message will you emphasize as you accept your party's nomination for President of the United States?As President, I will push for a higher minimum wage, immigration reform, economic growth, and a responsible foreign policy. We have no idea what my opponent would do.
- Will you give Bernie Sanders a prime speaking slot at the Democratic Convention?Let's give the keynote address to Elizabeth Warren. Mr. Sanders will speak as well, but I think emphasizing Ms. Warren will be a good middle-ground.
- Barack Obama is looking to you for pointers on the content of his convention speech, to make sure it is congruent with your campaign strategy. What should he emphasize?Obama should focus on his accomplishments and the improving economy, and then on how I will uphold his policies and legacy as President.
- To what extent will you attack Donald Trump for the rhetoric he has used about Mexicans, Muslims, women, and other groups?I will remind the American people that I am a uniter, and that I will make our country whole again. I think the message will be pretty clear.
- To what extent will you attack Donald Trump for the controversy surrounding Trump University?We have a civil case in progress which will draw plenty of attention to this matter. I have plenty of other things to attack Donald Trump over.
- What message will you emphasize about the political views of Donald Trump on economic and budget issues?Free trade and globalization have been a huge driver of economic growth over the past 25 years.
- Would you consider making a pledge to, if elected, serve a single term as President?I believe that nothing would better unite our party than a pledge like this. Perhaps it will help progressives to support me now, if they can plan on running their own candidate in 2020.
- To what extent will you make an increase in the minimum wage a key part of your campaign? Do you stand by your commitment to $12/hour?Most Americans want to see an increase in the minimum wage, and I stand by my support for this measure.
- Are you still opposed to the Trans-Pacific Partnership? Would you pursue further trade agreements as President?Let's wait a few years and see how things go before we consider the next steps.
- To what extent will you campaign with Barack Obama, or support his presence on the campaign trail this year?I am my own candidate. We need to minimize how much we are associated with the Obama Administration during this campaign.

- Donald Trump is attacking you almost daily on your 2002 vote in favor of the Iraq War. How do you plan to respond?We would have stabilized Iraq and won a great victory there, if we hadn't pulled out so hastily.
- Do you stand by your position, voiced during the primaries, that you will not deport any illegal immigrant who has not otherwise committed a crime?This is my preferred position. But unfortunately, it looks as though the courts will rule that Obama has gone too far.
- Many left-wing groups are organizing huge protests at Donald Trump's rallies, some of which involve blocking traffic or forcing the cancellation of speeches. Do you have anything to say about these tactics?Donald Trump's words go against everything our nation stands for, but I don't think it's correct or helpful to disrupt his rallies or to shout epithets at his supporters.
- In the wake of Trump's nomination, a number of prominent anti-Trump Republicans are organizing to cast votes for Libertarian Gary Johnson as a protest, with an emphasis on the Western states. What are your thoughts?It isn't my place to step into these kinds of disputes. I would hope that people see Hillary Clinton as the best candidate for President when they look at the ballot.
- Do you plan to participate in the traditional three debates, between yourself and Donald Trump?We shouldn't dignify Donald Trump's views with a debate. I will decline to participate in them.
- What was your rationale behind selecting Sherrod Brown as your running mate?Sherrod Brown has a record as one of the most progressive members in the Senate, and he has fought for his home state of Ohio for his entire career.
- While giving a speech today, you suddenly stopped speaking and appeared to briefly faint. A Secret Service agent supported you, and you came to and quickly finished the speech. Do you have any comment?It was just a headache which came on suddenly, and not any kind of long-term health issue. It's a shame that certain members of the right-wing have trafficked in fantastical conspiracy theories about my health.
- What is your position on the abortion issue?I'm a pro-life candidate. Very pro-life. I think only if a woman is in serious danger should she be able to receive an abortion.
- What are the next steps that the United States should take to combat global warming?Even if global warming is real, I highly doubt it has anything to do with human activity.
- Do you support the practice of fracking? What is your overall view on energy policy?I love fracking. We need to do anything we can to support it.
- Do you have plans to take in more than the current level of 10,000 refugees per annum from the conflict in Syria?We shouldn't be taking any refugees from Syria. We're talking about some very bad people here, who don't have America's interests at heart.
- What is your take on the Black Lives Matter movement?I support African-Americans in this country and I oppose police brutality. But these activists are a different story. There have been some very hateful things said, and they are tied to a number of riots that we've seen.

- To what extent will you attack Donald Trump for any number of statements he has made about women in his past, including in this election cycle?Everybody knows about these kinds of statements. We shouldn't allow ourselves to be dragged into the gutter on this. Rather, we should focus on policy issues in our campaign.
