Answers:

  • Where will you spend your final day of the campaign?
    Michigan, Wisconsin, and Iowa
  • What message will you emphasize as you accept your party's nomination for President of the United States?
I am calling out the leadership class on their failures, and because of this many lies have been spread about me. I support legal immigration and a safe zone for Syrian refugees, but you'd have no idea if you were listening to the folks in the media.
  • To what extent will you attack Bill Clinton's history of infidelity, impeachment, and so on as you campaign?
We won't say anything about this, except when Ms. Clinton attacks us. We will bring it up in that case as a counterattack.
  • To what extent will you attack Hillary Clinton's equivocation on the Benghazi attacks in 2012?
A lot of Republicans made themselves look pretty silly over this issue. We have plenty of over things to bring up.
  • To what extent will you attack Hillary Clinton's decision to set up a private email server in her home, while Secretary of State?
The American people are sick and tired of hearing about Clinton's emails.
  • To what extent will you attack Hillary Clinton's 2002 vote to authorize the war in Iraq?
She's probably expecting a lot of attacks on this issue -- let's keep her off balance by focusing on other things.
  • To what extent will you attack Hillary Clinton for her changing views on gay marriage, criminal justice, illegal immigration, the Trans-Pacific Partnership, or other issues?
We've both changed our opinions about things in the past. Let's be judicious about the attacks that we make.
  • What do you have to say in response to allegations that your Trump University used a number of unethical practices?
It's a minor civil case, pursued by a few disgruntled people for political purposes. Most people were very satisfied with Trump University.
  • Should Mitt Romney be given a speaking slot at the Republican Convention this year, given the tension between you two?
Absolutely not. I don't want him anywhere near the convention. He was a loser in 2012 and he'd lose again if we were crazy enough to give him the nomination.
  • To what extent will you make opposition to current trade agreements a part of your speeches and campaign?
This has been misunderstood from the first day. All I'm calling for is for us to not send unqualified hacks to negotiate our trade deals. I love trade.
  • Do you still hold a pro-life position on abortion? What do you have to say about previous incarnations of your views on that subject?
This is the kind of issue that I wasn't thinking about very much when I was younger. But it's clear to me now what a terrible thing abortion is.
  • What do you have to say to conservatives who doubt your commitment to their cause in this election? Do you have any grand gestures to make?
When I'm President, I'm going to appoint Ted Cruz to the Supreme Court. And if he doesn't want the seat, we're letting him name his choice.
  • Will you stand by your calls to keep all Muslims from entering the United States?
Absolutely I stand by it. People are being assaulted, killed, and and raped all over Europe this past year, and we want it to happen here too?
  • Many accuse your heated rhetoric of fueling violence at your rallies, which have become known for their protestors and altercations. What are your thoughts?
You know, I said a few things at the beginning of 2016 for rhetorical effect, and I didn't mean for so many people to take them literally. I should have known that the press would be looking for any excuse to discredit an anti-establishment candidate who doesn't take money from Washington lobbyists.
  • In the wake of your nomination, a number of prominent anti-Trump Republicans are organizing to cast votes for Libertarian Gary Johnson as a protest, with an emphasis on the Western states. What are your thoughts?
What is the point? Are they going to make Gary Johnson the President? Why don't they just vote for Hillary and cut out the middle man.
  • Do you plan to participate in the traditional three debates, between yourself and Hillary Clinton?
At this point, it's hard to have any faith that the media will moderate these debates in an impartial manner. I will buy a half hour of time on every major network and make my case directly to the people.
  • What was your rationale behind selecting Chris Christie as your running mate?
Chris Christie has walked the walk as Governor of New Jersey. I'm going to work with the best people as President.
  • In a hearing today, a New York judge has set the trial date for the Trump University lawsuit to August of this year. Do you have any comment?
I've apologized for my role in this university already, and I will again today.
  • What actions would you take in Syria to help stabilize the situation there, and to combat ISIS?
The idea that there is a moderate opposition in Syria is fantasy. Every side is terrible, and we'd be best served to pull back from the entire fray and let it play out.
  • Do you support the construction of a 20-foot wall along the entire length of the U.S.-Mexico border?
This is one of the most far-fetched ideas that I've heard in my political career.
  • How concerned are you about the $17 trillion debt that the United States currently owes?
This is absolutely obscene, and it's not going to keep growing when I am President.
  • What is your position on the European Union? Do you believe that countries such as the United Kingdom should exit the Union, given the current problems?
We've all seen the issues with the European Union, and it obviously hasn't been perfect. But I'd hope that any country consider things very carefully before they decided to leave.
  • To what extent will you connect the dots between the Clintons' support of free trade and tough sentencing, and the huge unemployment in the black community?
I think we have more to lose than to gain by going after the black vote heavily. So many Republican politicians have proven the futility of that course of action.
  • There has been a coordinated, violent terrorist attack on London today, resulting in the death of at least 100 people. How will you address this?
We're going to find whoever did this and bring them to justice. And let us remember, our country is at its best when we stand united. Islam is a religion of peace, and we only encourage the spread of terrorism if we overreact against innocent, patriotic Americans in the wake of this.
  • Are there any personal attacks you would like to throw at Bill and Hillary Clinton over the next few months?
You know, I almost hate to bring it up, but there are credible accusations that Bill fathered a black child with a Little Rock hooker. And furthermore... Hillary has conspired to threaten these people into keeping silent.
