Answers:
- What is your overall position on the Vietnam War?We keep emboldening the enemy in Vietnam with half-measures. We will never win this war unless we escalate it.
- If elected, what will you do to get the student and Negro riots in this country under control? There has been a total abdication of responsibility in this country over the past five years. The riots in Detroit and Newark are simply the final straw in what we can accept. I will crack down severely on disorder and nominate judges who will overturn atrocious decisions such as Miranda v. Arizona.
- What is your opinion of Lyndon Johnson's new Medicare program?I commend this piece of legislation. Already we see many Americans receiving health care who would otherwise be stricken with serious and/or fatal conditions.
- Are you satisfied with this nation's economic performance over the previous five years? Our current economic path is not sustainable. We need to continue the growth we have seen but we cannot allow this inflation we have to continue.
- Are you satisfied with the progress of desegregation in this country since the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964?Whites and Negroes are naturally unsuited to mix together in society. The entire premise of desegregation is a farce, and my campaign is dedicated to ending this misguided policy.
- What do you think about the efforts of the AFL-CIO and other large unions? Do they have a positive effect on America?Every man should have a choice on whether to join a union or not. These large outfits monopolize the work force and use their power to perpetrate voter fraud and to enrich their bosses.
- Should Lyndon Johnson have been able to prevent the Tet Offensive? We should have had greater security in those places where we were attacked. Let us not forget, however, that this attack greatly hurt the Viet Cong and was a victory for the United States.
- Would you be willing to place increasing responsibility in the hands of South Vietnam for their own defense?Only if they proved themselves capable of repelling Communist aggression. The best thing we can do right now is escalate the war with more American troops.
- Do you support opening a new dialogue with our Communist adversaries, such as the Soviet Union and China? You know, if some miracle occurred and these Communist adversaries were finally ready to explore a new system and allow democracy within their borders, we would be the first to welcome them to the free world.
- Are you concerned with some of the activist stances that Earl Warren has taken in his time with the Supreme Court?Earl Warren is without a doubt the worst Supreme Court justice in the history of the United States. From Brown v. Board of Education up through the present day, he has been nothing but an agent of tyranny for the federal government.
- What is your opinion on the legality of abortion? Would you attempt to legalize or prohibit this practice at the federal level? We all have our own opinions on this practice, but I think the current system is the one that we should stay with. The individual states should be allowed to legislate on abortion as they so please.
- Did the Supreme Court overstep its bounds in Loving v. Virginia by declaring state miscegenation statutes unconstitutional?I'm not going to comment on a decision like this one. I certainly don't support miscegenation laws by any means, but I also think the Court has to be careful about overstepping the rights of the states.
- What do you think of programs that require schools to use busing to achieve racial balance?Busing is nothing but another conspiracy to mongrelize the races of this country. First it was the Brown decision. Now it's some policy that some academic came up with to send children to school thirty miles from their house as part of some social engineering scheme.
- Can you comment on the newly created Head Start program? The Head Start program is another product of the out-of-touch, intellectual elite. It's a waste of money.
- Do you think the Department of Housing and Urban Development, newly created by Lyndon Johnson, serves a useful purpose in American life? Can we just clarify my position on all of these fancy programs Johnson created? I oppose all of them. That includes HUD which will infringe on the rights of property owners and increase crime in our working class neighborhoods.
- What is your opinion of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965? Is it a good idea to liberalize our immigration policy and to outlaw national origin quotas? The Negro problem apparently wasn't enough for our federal bureaucrats, because they decided to add Mexicans and Orientals to the list as well. I oppose new immigration to this country.
- What is causing the massive increase of crime in America? How will you reverse the trend? We have a system in place that gives precedence to the rights of criminals over law-abiding citizens. I will take a firm stand on this issue as President.
- What do you think of the late Dr. Martin Luther King?Dr. King bamboozled a lot of decent Americans with his rhetoric. I don't condone what happened to him, but most people fail to realize that he was a radical redistributionist and a borderline Communist.
- What is your position on expanding the Clean Air Act of 1963? Do you believe that stricter enforcement against pollutants is necessary, or does the current law suffice? This is another case of pointy-headed intellectualism that will regulate our factories right out of business and kill the jobs of the working man.
- Do we need more spending in the War on Poverty, especially in light of the riots since 1965?The War on Poverty is a national disgrace. It is a program that steals from the productive to finance the lazy and the shiftless.
- On the weekend before the election, Lyndon Johnson's peace negotiations have collapsed with the North Vietnamese. Even worse, there are rumors that a Nixon operative has sabotaged the negotiations. Nixon swears to you on his honor that he is innocent. Will you make this an issue over the last two days of the campaign? This is bordering on treason. The American people deserve to hear about this.
- What will be the overall message of your campaign?I am a serious candidate for President of the United States. I will protect law-abiding Americans from social disorder and I will win the war in Vietnam.
- Do you plan to make a strong effort in any of the non-Southern states? My goal is to sweep the South and prevent either candidate from achieving an electoral majority. I will make this region my primary focus.
- What is more important to you -- competing with Nixon in the border states (to help Humphrey) or winning over Humphrey voters in the northern cities (to help Nixon)? It looks like Nixon is the favorite, so I'm going to focus most of my efforts on campaigning where he's ahead.
- If there is no majority in the electoral college, what are your goals at the bargaining table?I will support whatever candidate agrees to rescind the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and agrees to appoint justices who will overturn Brown v. Board of Education. If no candidate agrees to those conditions, then I will not support either one of them.
