- What message will you emphasize as you accept your party's nomination for President of the United States?We've had a terrific President in Barack Obama for the last eight years. I will do everything in my power to defend his policies from attack.

- Barack Obama is looking to you for pointers on the content of his convention speech, to make sure it is congruent with your campaign strategy. What should he emphasize?I want Obama to make a targeted appeal to the African-American community to help make my case.
- To what extent will you attack Donald Trump for the rhetoric he has used about Mexicans, Muslims, women, and other groups?I am going to be pretty explicit in calling out the rhetoric and demagoguery of Donald Trump throughout this election.
- To what extent will you attack Donald Trump for the controversy surrounding Trump University?I'm going to be making a reference to Trump University in almost every speech that I make.
- What message will you emphasize about the political views of Donald Trump on economic and budget issues?Trump's prescriptions would devastate international trade, domestic investment, and most importantly, American employment. They would plunge us into a severe global recession.
- Would you consider making a pledge to, if elected, serve a single term as President?That's absurd. Of course not.
- To what extent will you campaign with Barack Obama, or support his presence on the campaign trail this year?I am my own candidate. We need to minimize how much we are associated with the Obama Administration during this campaign.
- To what extent will you support the presence of Bernie Sanders on the campaign trail?We'd be more than happy to see Bernie Sanders on the campaign trail this fall, if that's what he wants.
- Many left-wing groups are organizing huge protests at Donald Trump's rallies, some of which involve blocking traffic or forcing the cancellation of speeches. Do you have anything to say about these tactics?Donald Trump has repeatedly stepped over the line with his irresponsible rhetoric, and it shouldn't be any surprise that more and more protestors are turning out against him.
- Do you plan to participate in the traditional three debates, between yourself and Donald Trump?Any chance we can get to expose Trump's complete lack of preparation for the Presidency is a win for us.
- What was your rationale behind selecting Cory Booker as your running mate?Cory Booker is a bright, young, energetic man who will be perfectly ready to assume the Presidency from day one. He represents the best and brightest of the African-American community.
- Beginning in July, the Dow Jones Industrial Average entered an extremely bearish stretch, based largely on news out of China, losing over 30% of its value by October. A recession seems likely. Will you address this as you campaign?If this does affect the broader economy, we will be doing anything we can under my administration to pass stimulus measures.
- The FBI has recommended the indictment of several of your aides, based on classified intelligence which they obtained from secure facilities and emailed to you. Do you have any comment?I will immediately apologize for any lapses that occurred while I was Secretary of State, and will pledge to do anything possible to cooperate moving forward, so that we can get to the bottom of this.
- At a Trump rally today, a deranged supporter fired at several protestors before he was tackled. Are these rallies getting out of hand?Repeatedly, Mr. Trump has refused to acknowledge the consequences of his divisive rhetoric, and events at his rallies continue to escalate. What will it take for him to acknowledge that he is responsible?
- Protests at a Trump rally in Oakland, California degenerated into a riot last night, with extensive property damage and at least one death. What are your thoughts?Repeatedly, Mr. Trump has refused to acknowledge the consequences of his divisive rhetoric, and events at his rallies continue to escalate. What will it take for him to acknowledge that he is responsible?
- What actions would you take in Syria to help stabilize the situation there, and to combat ISIS?I would consider a pretty heavy bombing campaign there. We're going to bomb ISIS. We're going to bomb Assad. We're going to bomb the oil.
- Do you support the recent nuclear deal between the United States and Iran?I support this deal, but I will work very hard as President to see that it is aggressively enforced.
- What is your opinion of Barack Obama's performance as President?I'm proud that we were able to elect an African-American as President in this country. I really am. But we need to focus on the future now, and not on what may have gone right or wrong the last few years.
- Do you support the recent reopening of relations with Cuba?I'm glad that we have reached out to Cuba, but I would like to have seen a little more insistence that they liberalize their country first.
- Do you support the practice of fracking? What is your overall view on energy policy?Until green energy technologies are ready to shoulder the load, we need help from oil and fracking.
- What is your position on the European Union? Do you believe that countries such as the United Kingdom should exit the Union, given the current problems?We've all seen the issues with the European Union, and it obviously hasn't been perfect. But I'd hope that any country consider things very carefully before they decided to leave.
- Donald Trump has said in a couple of speeches that, "we don't really know" who fathered Chelsea Clinton. Do you have any comment?Mr. Trump's attacks are grotesque and outrageous. I trust that Americans of all persuasions will vote this type of rhetoric down in November.
- To what extent will you attack Donald Trump for any number of statements he has made about women in his past, including in this election cycle?Mr. Trump's gross and outlandish rhetoric should disgust any decent, hard-working women in our society. We need to show that there is no place for this rhetoric.
