- What was your rationale behind selecting Cory Booker as your running mate?Cory Booker is a bright, young, energetic man who will be perfectly ready to assume the Presidency from day one. He represents the best and brightest of the African-American community.
- While giving a speech today, you suddenly stopped speaking and appeared to briefly faint. A Secret Service agent supported you, and you came to and quickly finished the speech. Do you have any comment?It was just a headache which came on suddenly, and not any kind of long-term health issue. It's a shame that certain members of the right-wing have trafficked in fantastical conspiracy theories about my health.
- Do you support the construction of a 20-foot wall along the entire length of the U.S.-Mexico border?This is one of the most far-fetched ideas that I've heard in my political career.
- What is your position on the abortion issue?I will defend a woman's right to choose against any type of outside attack or meddling. We need to fight the recent attacks on abortion access.
- Do you support any type of comprehensive immigration reform, and if so, to what extent?I will push for comprehensive immigration reform within 100 days of taking office. This will bring security to millions of families and make it harder for companies to exploit foreign workers.
- What is your position on the European Union? Do you believe that countries such as the United Kingdom should exit the Union, given the current problems?We've all seen the issues with the European Union, and it obviously hasn't been perfect. But I'd hope that any country consider things very carefully before they decided to leave.
- Do you have plans to take in more than the current level of 10,000 refugees per annum from the conflict in Syria?You know, Steve Jobs was a descendent of Syrian refugees. We're screening these people very carefully and we can certainly afford to take in more than 10,000.
- There has been a coordinated, violent terrorist attack on London today, resulting in the death of at least 100 people. How will you address this?The first thing is, let's take a moment of respect for the people who were affected by this horrible tragedy. And I trust that the European authorities are on this case and over the coming weeks we will get more information about what happened.
- Donald Trump has said in a couple of speeches that, "we don't really know" who fathered Chelsea Clinton. Do you have any comment?Mr. Trump's attacks are grotesque and outrageous. I trust that Americans of all persuasions will vote this type of rhetoric down in November.
- To what extent will you attack Donald Trump for any number of statements he has made about women in his past, including in this election cycle?Mr. Trump's gross and outlandish rhetoric should disgust any decent, hard-working women in our society. We need to show that there is no place for this rhetoric.
