- What message will you emphasize about the political views of Donald Trump on economic and budget issues?I have opposed the Trans-Pacific Partnership for many of the same reasons that Trump brings up. The bipartisan support for free trade that he inveighs against simply doesn't exist.

- Donald Trump is attacking you almost daily on your 2002 vote in favor of the Iraq War. How do you plan to respond?Trump is lying if he says he opposed this war. There's no evidence or recorded statement of his opposition until well after the war began.
- Do you stand by your position, voiced during the primaries, that you will not deport any illegal immigrant who has not otherwise committed a crime?I stand by that statement 100 percent. And I will push for immigration reform within my first 100 days as President.
- Do you have plans to emphasize a path to universal health care in your campaign?We need to do something to drive turnout and keep Sanders supporters off of the sidelines. I will pledge to fight for universal health care as President.

Do you have anything to say about these tactics?Donald Trump's words go against everything our nation stands for, but I don't think it's correct or helpful to disrupt his rallies or to shout epithets at his supporters.
- In the wake of Trump's nomination, a number of prominent anti-Trump Republicans are organizing to cast votes for Libertarian Gary Johnson as a protest, with an emphasis on the Western states. What are your thoughts?It isn't my place to step into these kinds of disputes. I would hope that people see Hillary Clinton as the best candidate for President when they look at the ballot.
- Do you plan to participate in the traditional three debates, between yourself and Donald Trump?Any chance we can get to expose Trump's complete lack of preparation for the Presidency is a win for us.
- What was your rationale behind selecting Sherrod Brown as your running mate?Sherrod Brown has a record as one of the most progressive members in the Senate, and he has fought for his home state of Ohio for his entire career.
- While giving a speech today, you suddenly stopped speaking and appeared to briefly faint. A Secret Service agent supported you, and you came to and quickly finished the speech. Do you have any comment?It was just a headache which came on suddenly, and not any kind of long-term health issue. It's a shame that certain members of the right-wing have trafficked in fantastical conspiracy theories about my health.
- The FBI has recommended the indictment of several of your aides, based on classified intelligence which they obtained from secure facilities and emailed to you. Do you have any comment?This is yet another example, like Benghazi or many others, of a politically motivated witch hunt. I support my associates completely, and fully expect to see their names cleared before this is done.
- What is your opinion of Barack Obama's performance as President?I will be very proud to continue with the policies and economy that Obama has left our country with.
- Do you support the recent reopening of relations with Cuba?I fully support Barack Obama's actions in regards to Cuba.
- Do you support the practice of fracking? What is your overall view on energy policy?Until green energy technologies are ready to shoulder the load, we need help from oil and fracking.

We need to show that there is no place for this rhetoric.
